I don’t understand people

who hate an entire genre of music.

Country is pretty hated. But how can you hate country? Think about Johnny Cash, Allison Krauss. Country is not all Kenny Chesney and Toby Kieth. Think about Reba, Dolly Parton, etc. And if you don’t like those, there’s lots of others. There’s tons of sub-genres, like country folk, country blues, etc. And there ain’t no man on this earth that don’t love the blues, when he’s blue.

Chase that Feeling – Hilltop Hoods

Rap is disliked by many. I used to dislike rap, but it’s hard to anymore. There are so many new sub-genres and new artists every day. There is fun rap, dance rap, very deep and interesting rap. I think sometimes words and lyrical techniques are more powerful in rap because the lack of vocalization gives it a minimalistic effect. Just the spoken word, a beat or two, and flow.

I think I find something to like in every genre of music, try me :)
