Sometimes I put my music on shuffle

And try to draw the cover art or something inspired by it until the song ends. Whoever guesses what inspired this gets a cupcake.

This is basically the best thing Nelly has ever produced.
3 reasons against Spotify
#1
I can’t seem to find Adele’s “Someone like You” in its original format.
#2
It’s a complete memory hog on my phone, much much worse than Pandora. My keyboard/touch screen acts up while it’s running. Not to mention the battery usage is way too much, once again, when compared to other music streaming software.
#3
Maybe I’m blind, but I can’t find a “tracks similar to this” feature.
Oh well.
Uninstalled.
+ Playlist: I can’t forget you when you’re gone
Lenka is a lovely singer-songwriter. I recommend all her other songs as well. She makes great happy songs like Anything I’m Not and Dangerous and Sweet. This is an exception – it is quite sad but still one of my favorites. It’s called Like a Song:
Like A Song – by Lenka
I can’t forget you when you’re gone
You’re like a song that goes around in my head
And how I regret, it’s been so long
Oh, what went wrong? Could it be something I said?
Time, make it go faster or just rewind
To back when I’m wrapped in your arms
All afternoon long it’s with me the same song
You left a light on inside me, my love
I can remember the way that it felt to be
Holding on to you
I can’t forget you when you’re gone
You’re like a song that goes around in my head
And how I regret, it’s been so long
Oh what went wrong? Could it be something I said?
Time, make it go faster or just decide
To come back to my happy heart
Pandora should make ADD Pandora, 30 seconds of each song for people who can’t focus for longer than that.
I wonder if it would eliminate the license issues Pandora has. I admit sometimes I want to listen to like .. 50 seconds. But rarely more than that. I always get limits on Pandora because I skip too many songs. I wonder if it’s also because I’m an auditory learner and all the overflow of information causes the frustration from a song being too long or repetitive. But it doesn’t happen as often with terrible 80s music, jazz, or classical. Hm!

Full Disclosure: This is coming from a Britney Fan
Trouble For Me – I like this song, definitely something I’d like to hear while dancing. Reminds me of Circus. Good start. Dig the lyrics.
Trip To Your Heart – sounds like remixed 80s Britney – the bad kind.
Gasoline – Production value seems shoddy. Like it was thrown together the night before album release or something. I can forgive the lyrics but not the sound.
Criminal – Actually like the effort with the folky sounding intro/outro. It’s a good try for a ballad, but it’s forgettable.
Up n’ Down – The non-chorus music has decent lyrics. ( 20 out of 10 ) but something about it doesn’t fit. Kind of sad about this album so far.
He About To Lose Me – Yes, yes, finally a decent ballad. Not perfect, but there’s something authentic about it.
Selfish – Forgettable at first glance, but a solid club tune.
Don’t Keep Me Waiting – Weird mix of styles, all of which sound bad. Couldn’t finish the song.
Till the World Ends – Love this. Favorite so far. First song off this album that I think is a perfect 10. This was the 2nd single off the album, I think it could’ve even been the leading single.
Hold it Against Me - The lead single. I was never crazy about this song. It was the only song I heard before listening to this album in full. I hated the video so that might color my opinion. I don’t like it, the lyrics sound like they were picked out via dartboard. The production value is high, and I like her voice. But it lacks what “He About to Lose Me” has, a touch of authenticity.
Inside Out - I actually really like the lyrics. I think it’s too slow, though.
I Wanna Go – 3rd single. I like, almost love. Parts of it actually remind me of Girls Generation.
How I Roll - Cute. Not a dance song, but cute, in a sort of elementary profane way.
Beautiful – Flu? Vegetables? What? Other than that, fun dance song.
Seal It With A Kiss - I like this as a dance song. I think it could’ve been produced better, I don’t like the hats/scratches or whatever that sounds.
Big Fat Bass - This is a good “strange” mix. Sounds like Europop. I think it’s single material. THERE’S A KICK DRUM.
Have something to say about this post? Contact me.So far? Circus is still my favorite album, can still put that on shuffle/repeat and I’m good. The darker subject matter and the experimental sound fits her much better. Femme Fatale doesn’t have alot of memorable songs, nor is it easy listening, overall, a bit too dumb for Britney, which results in an annoying album. The end of my list are the songs I’ll probably listen to again.
I hear this everywhere I go
At first I thought it was some kind of joke, because I never really listened to the lyrics. But after watching it I think it’s pretty interesting. It was filmed in Salajan, where I live right now. I’ve been to Dristor Kebab, Non-Stop McChicken, Breadland, Titan Park (They show the bridge and the basketball court). For the record, McChicken could be the worst food I’ve had in my life. Dristor Kebab is amazing. I walked by “Bubbles Beauty” countless times. I’ve walked in “New York Pizza” but didn’t eat there. And yes, I have seen the spice shop … many times.

My top 5 favorite Britney songs [New Britney Music coming out next month]
5. Lace and Leather (Circus)
4. Unusual You (Circus)
3. Break the Ice (Blackout)
2. Phonography (Circus)
1. Toxic (In the Zone)
So strangely enough 3 of these were off Circus. I really liked Circus, and I hope the future Britney album keeps going in the same direction with the same songwriters.
