Healthy habits are the answer
My “Vegetarian for a Month” thing failed.. but I’ve learned a bit from the 2 weeks I consumed no meat. For one, I like how eating less meat feels. Another thing is that strictness doesn’t fix anything, habit does. It’s okay if you occaisionally eat meat, but I think a healthy habit is to avoid it when you can. Once a week or once every two weeks is okay, in my opinion.
I also had soda for the first time in probably 4 weeks. I was tired and was craving sugar. I think the same rule applies to soda. Most of the time, choose something healthy, but a soda a month won’t cause that much damage.
I think people that become to strict with their food turn it into a sort of religious thing, like it’s wrong to eat meat. That annoys me. So once again, strictness is not the answer, healthy habits are the answer.

I’m more or less a vegetarian.. I rarely if ever eat meat. Just don’t really like it…
If you want some really good vegetarian food ideas let me know! I’m always coming up with new ideas & looking up recipes
Recently I’ve been eating a lot of vegetable sandwiches – avocado, tomatoes, sprouts, hummus (really anything that you like) all stuffed into a toasted pita pocket. Mmmmmm…
Also the other day I made eggs (I usually hate eggs and I NEVER eat them but I was inspired by a flatbread my friend had at dunkin donuts and I wanted to make a healthy version of it). I made an egg white omelet with a whole bunch of veggies in it and feta cheese (it was the only kind in the house at the moment, but it tasted pretty good with it) then i put it in a toasted flat bread and then yum yum yum
I’m also digging vegan and raw food recipes if you’re interested in a couple of the ones I’ve tried. Raw food is a really hard diet to follow on a daily basis, but it really is the healthiest way to eat so I try to incorporate as much raw food into my diet as I can. Don’t start thinking about bloody steaks and uncooked chicken, raw food diet is vegan (which you think would be obvious, but I know when I first heard about it I thought “ew raw meat?” and so did a bunch of people I know haha).
Anyway, I’m going to stop wiki-ing you but I love talking raw, vegan, vegetarian recipes so if you ever want to, just let me know!!

I’m the same way, i rarely eat meat. I also eat mostly raw veggies + fruits, so I may be subconsciously raw diet. I grew up in the countryside, so MOST food was not meat and vegetarian. On special occasions we’d cook meat or pastries or something. I couldn’t handle eating a big cooked meal every day.
I always try to cook new and interesting veggie foods, but I usually fail. That’s why I eat simple things like veggies, fruits, or I go out and get hummus, etc.
