Taking life 30 days at a time
January 28, 2010I think the 30-day money back guarantee can be applied to alot more than just shopping. It can be applied to things like goals and resolutions. Try something for 30 days, then evaluate if it helped you, how hard it was, and if you want to keep doing it. SOOOO here are the things I will attempt this year for 30 days. I even created a fancy artsy graphic for it :]

1. Draw every day for a month. It’s good for me.
2. Eat like a vegetarian for a month. This will be quite easy since I avoid meat normally. (My taste buds do not want!!) I want to see what it’s like to completely cut meat out, for a month.
3. Wake up at 7 every day for a month. This is arguably the most challenging 30-day resolution since I’m lazy and terrible at this. BUT, I feel good when I do it. So maybe I can get in the habit for 30 days? I’m also pretty sure I have some sort of sleep disorder, known as LAZY.
4. Freeze discretionary spending! Cut out the pork! (and jewelry) Screw the lobbyists! (and new credit card offers) Only spend money on food and other absolutely necessary expenditures (medicine, water, etc). I think I can pull this off if its during a month where nobody has a birthday!
5. No more soda. This might as well be a yearlong thing. I’m pretty sure I’m ready to cut soda out of my life permanently. Me and Dr. Pepper are going our separate ways. Don’t be sads. All good things come to an end.
Is there anything else I should try for 30 days? Will update with new ideas and when I’m starting this stuff.
