Now I’m angry at my credit card
All this hub-bub in the news about credit cards never phased me. I read about it but didn’t care, because it wasn’t happening to me. I mean, Bank of America wouldnt do that to me, right?
WRONGGGGGGGGGGGG.
I’ve become a victim of the moronic “finance charge” which is apparently random. I got the charge after I payed off my card in full. Then my month was up so I was late on payment because I didnt pay my finance charge of $2.97. A simple solution to this is just to pay 10$ MORE than what I owe, and be in the “negative” on my credit card (means the bank owes me money).
So, now that it’s happened to me, something should be done about this.
The ironic thing is that after I payed off my CC, I signed up for Bank of America Alerts, which was supposed to alert me if I got fined or charged anything – but they didn’t. Awesome. Really. Freaking. Awesome.
I don’t really care about the three bucks, I guess I just hate the utter randomness of the charge.
POOP.

I had a dream last night that referenced another dream I had a couple weeks ago. The dream I had a while ago was of Britney Spears at her “Circus Tour”. It was a run down version of it, but I was still pretty excited since I’ve never seen her live. I woke up and realized it was a dream, didn’t really think about it again. Just now I had a dream talking with Perez Hilton about Britney, and telling him how the concert I went to was really run down and the dancing was pretty bad. A bunch of other stuff happened in the dream but that’s irrelevant.
I think its pretty cool how dreams can reference other dreams. Its like our brains remember things that were learned while in the same state of mind. This works with drinking and learning foreign languages, so it should also work with dreams.
I rarely have lucid dreams, but my dreams are always very vivid, and I am always extremely certain it is not a dream. Often I think to myself “This better not be a dream” or “Thank god this isn’t a dream”. You’d think I’d learn after, say, a few years of having very vivid dreams, but no. Every night when I fall asleep and enter dreamworld, I am always so certain everything is real, unicorns and all.
This got me thinking about FlashForward. It’s a show about a catastrophe called the “Global Blackout” that apparently affected the entire world. Everyone blacked out and had visions. The visions were very vivid, real, and aware, similar to how I am in dreams. Of course, the FlashForward visions corroborate (they were the same for people who were in each other’s visions). I don’t think they are a “version of the future”, dreams or “possible futures” because that is very very anticlimactic. They will have to find a way to make it work, be interesting, and surprise you at the same time. So far I like the show, the Washington DC episode is my favorite so far, because it put the show back into the real world and had great acting. Obviously I’m interested in the “mysteries” but I like when they can create quality dialogue and subplots as well!

Jumpino is still not finished. Less than 1% left to do and the promo video. I will go into it’s house at night and slit its throat.

I ask myself this because I don’t really know. Part of blogging is getting attention for your words and thoughts – for getting a response. Usually its in the form of an email or a comment from my brother or Dary. I sometimes look at popular blogs and feel jealous. Today I looked at a blog of a rubber stamp salesman. She outlined various crafting examples and projects. Even though I subtly despise crafting, it was a good blog. It made me smile and smirk and I read some posts all the way through. I guess that is what I am jealous of. That .. wierd ability to keep people’s attention. To write things worth reading. I shy away from writing, I’m not confident enough usually to write fiction.
Another interesting part of keeping this blog is that I connect it to my facebook account. My facebook is full of friends and non-friends, people who used to be my friend and people who I think are my friends. They are also very varied (my tongue just died). Some have tattoos, some are missionaries, some are annoying, some post drunk pictures every weekend. And since all of these people have access to the blog, It’s kind of my way of relating myself to them, and by extension to the world. I could keep a private blog or diary (Ok, I probably couldn’t) but this being public is important. What I say is important because it defines the way I feel about myself relating to other people.
Moving on, I want to take the blog in a New Direction (glee reference). I have a bad habit of saying what I think people want to hear instead of saying what I think. So from now on, I’ll be saying what I think, the good the bad and the ugly. And when Lost Season 6 begins, you can expect back-to-back Lost theory posts. (No spoilers!)
So here we go at this little experiment. Now I must go to bed because I’m actually still trying to stick to that waking up early resolution. Right now I’m doing well waking up at 8:30. I’m trying to get down to 7 or 6 but I am proud of myself for 8:30.

According to this CNN Article, the average cost of execution in Florida is $24 million, and costs more than keeping someone in jail for life. This is mostly because of all the precautions and security that executions require, as well as funding the complicated pardon and appellate process.
$24 Million is alot of money. And it’s not worth whatever you solve by killing a criminal, in my opinion. You could do a hell of alot with $24 million alone, not to mention all the money it costs when you add up each execution.
The question remains… WTF?

Tacky, Made in China, and $149.95
For those of you not educated in the terminology for jewelry, fashion jewelry is non-precious “throw away” jewelry. Some fashion jewelry becomes highly collectible because of its quality and design, but most is just crap. Most shoppers prefer at least a Sterling Silver base for longevity and intrinsic value. Fashion Jewelry also has plastic or lucite beads instead of real gemstones, although this varies from piece to piece. Moving on…
When the majority of us on the HSN forums want silver, vermeil, technibond, or gold, (non-fashion jewelry) they have come out with 5 new lines of fashion jewelry. (It’s not even nice enough to call it costume.) Yes, I buy a piece of costume every now and then, but not from HSN and it has to be very unique, special, and priced right. I thought silver was getting cheaper? Technibond has less new styles, more expensive prices, and disappointing designers. Also, is it just me, or are the gems getting opaquer? Personally, I like the opaque look more, but it disappoints me to know that the main reason theyre doing it is to cut costs.
As a side note, wouldnt it be interesting if they made more body jewelry with technibond? Like CBRs, navel rings, etc? I have a septum (I know most of you will say you hate it) but I’ve always wanted a gold filigree retainer for it .. I’m starting to think I’ll have to make it myself. Nobody who does good gold-over-silver makes body jewelry. I think they are missing out on a small, but growing market. Body jewelry isnt just for teens anymore, in my opinon.
Anyway, moving on .. what does everyone think of the new “silvertone/goldtone” brands?
Grayce by Molly Sims

Robin by Me&Ro .
VALESKA
Roberta Chiarella
The only jewelry I saw that wasnt costume was that horrendously overpriced Carol Brodie. Interesting selections, but anyone that buys does not understand the value of gemstones.
Have something to say about this post? Contact me.I bet 50 bucks Jennifer Anniston is a Closet Libertarian.

Hey there .. limited government
So yesterday I was looking over Ron Paul’s comments on Obama’s Peace Prize, which brought me to his blog, where I found out Vince Vaughn is a Paulite! He even wrote a little blurb for Ron Paul’s new book, “End the Fed”. No, I haven’t read it, nor will I ever. I don’t like buying politician’s books because it seems like a waste of money or a donation. I’m opposed to political donations because, well, I’m broke.
ANYWAYZ.
This got me looking into any other celebrities, and lo and behold, John Mayer is also a Paulite. They both dated Jennifer Aniston. I know this is a long shot, but Aniston never seemed to me like the hardcore Hollywood liberal. Sure, she hates Bush, but who doesn’t? She donated to Obama’s campaign, but I’m pretty sure John Mayer did too, as well as a plethora of other Liberal-Libertarianans, who are also Ron Paul fans.
50 bucks.

This internet rumour caught me by surprise – my first thought was – hey, that’s kind cool! Of course, after I actually looked into it, I found out it wasn’t true.

I love corsets and bustiers. They are always very feminine but not demure. (Today is not a demure day). I like the stylized ring but also wearing bustiers. They are casual but cute and put together. I don’t own either of these, but I will probably grab the Ardente ring once it goes on clearance. (Yes, I have a problem.)
Right, Urban Outfitters, $29.99. Left, Ardenté 925, $39.00 from HSN
